Our subdivision (Briar Meadow) is within the
Plano Independent School District.

Our subdivision is served by the following schools:

We are fortunate to be served by some of best schools in North Texas. The Texas Education Agency (TEA) on August 1, 2005, released accountability ratings for all Texas schools. Plano ISD is rated Exemplary or Recognized on 28 of 31 student performance indicators and Academically Acceptable on three indicators.

"TEA rates a school district based upon the lowest acquired indicator," reports James Ashby, Plano ISD Director of Assessment and Accountability. "Therefore, the Plano school district is rated Academically Acceptable for the 2005 school year. The three Academically Acceptable indicators for Plano ISD are in the subject of science."

We are proud of our schools and they have done exceptionally well in the 2005 ratings by the Texas Education Agency. We congratulate our students, parents and the teachers for these outstanding accomplishments.
